In the luxurious Chalet Ochsenbug, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday with up to 8 guests. This detached holiday home is part of the Nationalpark Chalets in Neukirchen am Großvenediger and combines comfort, space, a charming alpine atmosphere and a carefully modernised interior. Upon entering, you step into the spacious hallway with access to the living area. The stylish open-plan kitchen with cooking island and cosy dining area forms the heart of the chalet. In the lounge area, the fireplace and comfortable sofa create a warm and inviting ambiance. From the living room, you have direct access to the terrace. A lovely spot to start the day together or unwind in the evening. The chalet features four comfortable bedrooms with double beds, spread over two floors. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, providing additional comfort and privacy during your stay. On the top floor, you will also find a wonderful relaxation area with sauna, perfect for soothing your muscles after an active day in the Austrian mountains. Here, comfort and luxury take centre stage.
In winter, Chalet Ochsenbug is an excellent base for a varied ski holiday. The valley run of the Wildkogel Arena passes just above the Nationalpark Chalets and almost connects to the resort’s practice slope. From here, you can easily ski further towards the village of Neukirchen. Within just a few steps, you reach the slope, and at the end of the day you can ski back to close to the chalet. This allows you to enjoy quick access to the ski area while staying in a quiet and comfortable location. The Wildkogel Arena is known as a well-organised and family-friendly ski area with excellent facilities for (young) children. Those looking for more of a challenge can explore the extensive Zillertal Arena, offering long ski days and a wide variety of runs. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there are many other winter activities in the area. Enjoy an atmospheric torchlight walk to the Krimml Waterfalls or race down Europe’s longest natural toboggan run. After an active day, store your equipment in the ski storage room and relax in the warmth, comfort and luxury of your own chalet.
In the summer, it is equally enjoyable here. As a guest of the Nationalpark Chalets, you have access to the natural swimming pond near the reception building, complete with sun loungers and a playground for children. On the lounge terrace, you can relax together and toast to a successful holiday day. The surrounding area also offers countless opportunities for an active and varied summer holiday. With the included Nationalpark Summer Card, you benefit from free or discounted activities. Take the gondola up for a panoramic hike, visit a local museum or explore the mountains by mountain bike. Here, nature, relaxation and adventure come together effortlessly.
